This Primary School was established in 1947-48 academic year. It was upgraded as UPS in the year 1956-57. Later it was upgraded again as High school in 1975-76 academic years. The high school was bifurcated and running the other end if the village.The Primary School remained in the same place.

Sri Laxminarayana garu was the First Head Master for this school. It was run for many years without any primary needs like drinking water and compound wall and sanitation to the students and as well as the teaching staff. In the due course with the support of voluntary organization like SPREAD, the school was provided the minimum facilities since last a few years Spread Organization is providing all the requirements which school needs. At present there are sufficient class rooms for the children. But there is no room for him. The kitchen is also in ruined position.With the support of SPREAD the school is giving qualitative education to the pupils and also introduced the English Medium. English Medium was started two years ago. To teach English Medium students SPREAD appointed vidhya volunteers and paying them salary. Some students trained up to participate in cultural activities like Bathukamma Sambaralu a skit was performed by students in celebrations of High School Annual day in January 2016.

•    To create the pleasant atmosphere in the school premises, plantation programmer has been taken
•    The school building has been painted with multi colors. Now the school has become a theatre and the children are not only enjoying the reading and writing but also participating in various cultural and co-curricular actives.
•    To give the qualitative education to the pupils par with cooperate schools they presented projector, screen, LED TV and Speakers to the school.
